Collection: Domaine David Moret

Bold yet Refined – Meticulous, Couture-like Small-Batch Production by a Micro-Négociant
After studying viticulture and oenology, David Moret began his career by selling winemaking equipment to local producers. Building on the friendships he forged with them, he purchased his first barrel in 1999 and launched his own brand as a micro-négociant from a small cellar in the heart of Beaune.
Every year, he personally hand-selects grapes from the same plots belonging to five or six of Burgundy’s most trusted growers, ensuring that the vines and fruit are kept in the best possible condition. Specializing in white wines, his production is renowned for its strength, boldness, and refined elegance—qualities often said to reflect his own vibrant personality.
Guided by minimal intervention and a commitment to expressing terroir, his wines are barrel-fermented and then aged in oak for 9–12 months. Annual production is extremely limited, at around 7,000 bottles, focusing on Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, and Rully, with select cuvées also from some of the most prestigious villages of the Côte de Nuits.
