Spirits

A single grape becomes a glass of wine by way of the soil and the hands that tend it. For more than twenty years, what we at Cépages have concerned ourselves with is the story behind that journey, and the truth that reveals itself in the glass.

Now we are turning that same eye towards the world of distilled spirits.

The land where the raw material grew, the philosophy of the maker, the time given over to maturation: the criteria for choosing a great spirit turn out to overlap remarkably with those for choosing a great wine. We look past the fame of a label to the intention and the quality poured into each glass, and this collection holds only the bottles we can recommend wholeheartedly.

Whisky, brandy, and an ever-widening cast of others besides. Each bottle is chosen with the same gaze we bring to wine, for the character of its origin and of the person who made it.
