Canary Islands

Off the coast of Africa, adrift in the Atlantic, lie the Canary Islands. On these islands, blanketed in volcanic ash and lava, the vines root into black earth and grow under sea spray and the hot wind blowing off the African mainland.

Because they were spared the phylloxera that devastated the vineyards of the world in the nineteenth century, ungrafted old vines survive here to this day, and the flavours woven by indigenous varieties such as Listán Negro and Malvasía Volcánica resemble nothing else on earth.

Enjoy wines carrying mineral depth and a taste of salt — wines that hold, quite literally, the memory of the islands.
