Cépages offers a diverse lineup of wines, with a particular focus on those crafted by small-scale producers. We place emphasis on winemakers who represent their regions and are passionately committed to producing outstanding wines using organic, biodynamic, and sustainable farming practices.
These producers’ wines reflect the origin and character of their terroirs, their individual talents, their respect for nature, and the uniqueness of each vintage. These wines are well-balanced, offering more than just an initial impact—they invite you to return for another glass. While our journey began exclusively with French wines, we have since expanded our selection to include wines from Spain, Italy, the United States, and New Zealand.

Team
Every member of the Cépages team approaches their work as a dedicated professional in their respective field. We personally taste all wines before importing, thoroughly evaluating not only their quality—an absolute prerequisite—but also their price-value ratio and market relevance. We pursue wines that truly resonate with our customers’ expectations.
Beyond possessing deep technical knowledge, our team genuinely loves food and wine. We do not treat wine as a mere commodity, but as a lifelong companion—something we engage with both professionally and personally. Each year, we visit our producers, exploring their vineyards and cellars, and engaging in meaningful dialogue. Through these visits, we not only deepen our own understanding but also strive to convey the producers’ personalities and winemaking philosophies to our customers, believing this is the key to truly appreciating wine.

Yves RINGLER
A trained biochemist, Yves has devoted his life to winemaking at his own estate in the Southern Rhône and to building the wine business in Japan. Thanks to his close relationships with fellow winemakers, Cépages boasts a portfolio rich in exceptional domaines.
Until 2019, Yves also managed the wine bar Le Terroir in Mejiro, where he held monthly seminars to share his passion with customers. His mission remains the same: to discover and share outstanding wines crafted with care by small producers, primarily from France but also from around the world.

Founded in 2000 and based in Bordeaux, Élan is a company specializing in the distribution of fine wines and spirits. Through its subsidiaries, Élan currently distributes over 2.5 million bottles of wine, primarily to hotels and restaurants.
Beyond France, Élan expanded into Russia and Kazakhstan, and later into China, Hong Kong, and South Korea. Following the onset of the war in Ukraine, the company withdrew from the Russian market and shifted its focus toward the Asia-Pacific region. In 2023, Cépages joined the Élan Group, allowing us to further strengthen our wine selection through Élan’s sourcing power and shared vision.
