This wine was born in 2015 on a quartz, gneiss and dimica gneiss terroir owned by the Luneau family.

Vera Cruz means "True Cross" in Old Spanish, and this cuvée warms the heart and soul with the aromas of Hispano-Ligeria.

Tasting notes
Upon opening, the aroma is subtle, with note of apricot, citrus fruits, and iodine reminiscent of Riesling. The palate is delicate and balanced density, with fine details expressed in detail by the fine, vibrant acidity. The finish has a rich, savory salinity reminiscent of oysters.

Domaine Luneau-Papin

Domaine Luneau-Papin is located 20 km south of the Loire River, 20 km from the city of Nantes, and is a prestigious estate with a history dating back to the 17th century. The previous generation, Pierre Luneau, has long been one of the producers who have taught the ageing potential of Muscadet. From fresh, crisp Muscadets to long-aging Muscadets that finally reach their prime after aging, he has made wines that bring out the best of each terroir and its potential. Today, under the leadership of Pierre-Marie Luneau, the ninth generation of the family, the focus is on expressing the differences between the terroirs more clearly.
