【A Wine That Embodies the True Charm of Garnacha】
This wine uncovers the expressive potential of Garnacha grown at high altitudes in the Sierra de GRedos, delivering a powerful and complex taste reminiscent of Burgundy. The vineyard is located in one of Spain's highest (1000-1100m) and coolest Garnacha-growing regions.
After rigorous grape selection, 20-30% of the clusters are de-stemmed without crushing and gently transferRed to the bottom of 3,300L and 1,000L stainless steel tanks and 3,500L concrete tanks. The remaining whole clusters are moved to the tank for 4-5 days of cold maceration before spontaneous fermentation begins. The gentle extraction occurs naturally through gravity. After fermentation, the wine is carefully pressed using a vertical basket press.
Malolactic fermentation and aging take place over 14 months, with 30% of the wine aged in concrete tanks, 40% in traditional clay amphorae, and 30% in neutral 500L French oak barrels.
The resulting wine showcases aromas of Red berries, earth, and underbrush. It has velvety tannins with a medium body, featuring a well-balanced, supple structure and a silky transparency. The wine finishes fresh, lively, and vibrant.
