Seven plots in Montlouis, totaling 1 hectare, with an average age of 80 years, the oldest being 1891. The wine has a beautiful floral aroma of violets and condensed flesh, outstanding delicacy, and aromas of orange and dark fruit with hints of spice. The mouthfeel is silky smooth and beautiful. The gentle and fresh tannins that accentuate the fruitiness are felt for a long aftertaste.

Le Rocher des Violettes

Xavier Weisskopf studied winemaking in Chablis and Beaune, and after obtaining a degree in œnologie and viticulture, he worked for four years as cellar master at Château de Saint-Cosme in Gigondas. After four years as cellar master at Château de Saint-Cosme in Gigondas, he bought his first plot of 7ha and founded Le Rocher des Violettes in 2005.
