This cuvée was crafted by Languedoc master Alain Chabanon, who poured his convictions and philosophy into it. The deep minerality and firm structure of the high-altitude Font-Cordes vineyards remain intact, and the benefits of aging in 2007 have enriched the aroma and flavor to an unparalleled degree. The glass is filled with wild aromas of black currant, plum, tobacco leaf, spices, and even Mediterranean Garrigue. The smooth sweetness of ripe fruit blends with supple tannins on the palate, leaving a deep impression on the finish with nuances of earth and limestone. Powerful yet serene—this is a powerful red wine that truly embodies the spirit of southern France.

Tasting notes
The deep garnet color exudes a calmness that comes from aging, and the glass reveals complex aromas of black cherry, plum, and cassis, along with tobacco, dried herbs, and spices.

The mouthfeel is supple, and the long aging process has allowed the tannins to blend very finely, creating a pleasant balance between the richness of the fruit and the refined structure.

The finish is long-lasting, with aromas reminiscent of black pepper, bay leaves and Mediterranean garrigue, giving the impression of combining strength and elegance.

This is a bottle that is just ripe for drinking now, and is a masterpiece of aged Languedoc that we highly recommend to red wine lovers.
