This wine is made from 80-year-old Carignan vines that are rooted in a plateau of clay-limestone and marl soil. The vines are macerated together and fermented naturally with wild yeast. The wine is aged in tanks for 12 months, bottled without clarification or filtration, and then aged in bottles for another 12 months to achieve a rich aroma of blackcurrant and blackberry, a shining depth, and silky tannins. The best part is the well-balanced flavor, with a harmony of power and purity.
