This wine is crafted from 80-year-old Carignan vines, rooted in highlands on clay-limestone and marl soils. The vines are macerated whole and fermented naturally with wild yeasts. Aged in tank for 12 months, it is bottled without fining or filtration, and then aged for a further 12 months in the bottle, resulting in rich aromas of cassis and blackberry, a radiant depth, and silky tannins. The wine's greatest appeal lies in its well-balanced flavor, a harmonious blend of power and purity.
