Production

The grapes are partially grown on white clay-limestone soil in the Sèche vineyard, close to the Premier Cru Vosgien, and the rest come from very old vines in a small village near Chablis. About 25% of the wine is aged in demi-muids to impart oak influence, while the majority is made in stainless steel, following the classical Chablis style.

About the Winery

Maison de la Chapelle

Delphine and Grégory Viennois, two native Burgundians, are returning to their roots with the creation of their wine merchant La Maison de la Chapelle. These two wine enthusiasts embarked on their adventure with their very first vintage in 2014. Delphine, who comes from a winemaking family, has always been associated with the great Burgundy houses. As for Grégory, an oenologist, he trained with some of the great names in Burgundy, including Domaine J. Prieur, de l'Arlot, Smtih-Haut Lafitte, M. Chapoutier, Ferraton Père & Fils and Stéphane Derenoncourt. Now back in Burgundy, running his own business, he is also technical director at Domaine Laroche in Chablis and consultant at Quinta Do Monte d'Oiro in Portugal.
