"Llum" means "light" in Catalan. This wine, made from old-vine Grenache Gris, showcases the high quality of the soil. It is a fresh, pure, and crisp White wine with a sharp, clean character.

Tasting notes
Delicate aromas of white and yellow flowers, along with hints of fruit, characterize this wine. The finish is mineral-driven with a long-lasting aftertaste. A wonderfully refined wine.

Pairing
Raw fish, scallops, crab, avocado, chicken, spices and dried fruit, or morels.

Production

The schist soils on the northern side of the Força Réal massif are home to Grenache Gris and Macabeu vines planted between 1908 and 2008, trained in the goblet method. Fermentation is done with wild yeasts in 228L and 500L wooden barrels, followed by nine months of aging in old Burgundy barrels.

Domaine le Roc des Anges

Roc Des anges was founded in Febuary 2001. A Carignan vine planted on a vein of quartz is biheind the origin of the name. a white soil surrounded by black schist: the “Lieu-Dit” is called “Roc Blanc” which translates as White Rock. Angels where chosen to symbolize the vein of quartz, and Roc Blanc became Roc Des Anges (Roc of the Angles).
