Le bruit des vagues, made from pure Marsanne grapes, is a perfect introduction to the Pilon style of winemaking. Fresh and pure, this charming wine is one to enjoy right now. Its name means 'The Sound of Waves.

Tasting notes
Beautiful and pure flavors of melon, fennel, and white peach rise into fragrant floral aromas towards the finish. A subtle bitterness adds to the incredibly fresh taste.

Production

Direct pressing is used, and the juice is clarified by allowing fine solids to settle before fermentation in old barrels. Aged for 10 months in used barrels, undergoing malolactic fermentation. The lees at the bottom of the barrel are not stirred.

Domaine Julien Pilon

Native of the Rhône Valley, Julien Pilon spent more than 10 years working in Spain and Roussillon, learning winemaking in famous wineries such as Mas Amiel (Roussillon), Terra Remonta (Spain) and Jean Pierre Villa (Rhone). Julien Pilon described himself as a landless winemaker when he started on his own in 2010.
