Tasting notes
A pale golden color with delicate bubbles rising quietly. The clear, radiant color is impressive, and the depth and tension of a long bottle aging are apparent.

The first impression is a sharp, mineral bouquet. White flowers, citrus peel, ripe grapefruit, lemon zest, and a hint of saltiness like a sea breeze. Over time, the aromas of brioche, hazelnuts, white pepper, and crushed lime develop in layers. The subtle nuances from barrel fermentation actually enhance the purity of the fruit and minerals.

The palate is extremely pure and stoic. The concentrated fruitiness is pierced by a finely honed acidity, and the tension and saltiness are beautifully balanced. The emphasis is on vertical tension rather than thickness, and the chalky texture derived from the calcareous soil continues into the finish.

The bubbles are extremely fine and spread serenely on the tongue, with a lingering aftertaste of citrus peel, white pepper, and mineral saltiness. The structure typical of Brut Nature coexists with the depth of lees aging.
