Planted between 1963 and 2011. Schist soil. This parcel is planted with white and several red varieties. In recent years, Muscat, Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc, Grenache Noir, Picpoul, and Cinsault have been added. The wine's color comes from the subtle use of black grapes, and its pale pink color comes naturally from the terroir, not from the winemaking method.

Owning & Enjoying

Tasting notes
When poured into a glass, it has a pale straw color with a hint of gold. The aroma is delicate and pure, with notes of white flowers, chamomile, pear, and white peach, as well as herbal notes like fennel and anise, and mineral nuances reminiscent of limestone. There is also a subtle complexity of wax and honey, creating a deep aromatic structure.

The palate is dominated by a supple, salty, and beautiful minerality, with a citrus-like, taut acidity that tightens the overall flavor. The attack is gentle but has a core, with a subtle bitterness that elegantly ties the aftertaste together. The finish is clean and long, with the quiet strength and clarity that characterizes Roc des Anges.

An authentic white wine from the south of France that honestly expresses the complexity created by the clever blend and the purity of the terroir.
