This elegant and powerful red wine is made from Syrah grapes grown on the steep slopes of the Northern Rhone hills. The complex aromas of ripe blackberries, violets, and black pepper rise to the surface, while the fine tannins and minerality create a long finish. This classic wine is full of fruit energy and will develop even more depth with age.

Deep garnet color.

The glass reveals aromas of cassis, black cherry, and ripe plum, with hints of violet, black pepper, and smoky minerality.

In the mouth, the rich fruit and supple acidity typical of Syrah blend together, and fine tannins give the wine structure.

The mid-palate develops complex flavors reminiscent of olives, thyme, and black truffle, and the finish is long, with a pleasant lingering minerality and spice.

It has an elegant and powerful finish that is expected to develop even more depth and smoothness with age.

About the Winery

Domaine Vincent et Alexandre Cluzel

Vincent Cluzel is one of the rising stars of the northern Rhone. Coming from a family of growers that sold their fruit to the top winemakers of the region. Vincent began his own endeavor in 2013 after working for Condrieu and St. Joseph icon Yves Cuilleron. His brothe, Alexandre, join the family business in 2017.
