Tasting notes
The powerful and rich aromas blossom. First, you will notice yellow peach, plum and quince jelly, followed by floral notes and acacia flowers. Finally, you will notice hints of vanilla and sweet notes, completing the beautiful and complex aromas. The taste is elegant and sophisticated. It is balanced between mellowness and freshness, with a touch of saltiness.

Pairing
It goes well with asparagus, veal or poultry.

Production

Chavanay（シャヴァネイ）高原とMalleval（マルルヴァル）村にある標高300メートルの南向きの斜面に位置

手摘みで収穫し、畑で選果。早熟の品種であるマルサンヌを先に収穫し、その後にルーサンヌを収穫。圧搾とデブルバージュ（澱引き）は低温で実施。

その後、2つの発酵を実施。ひとつは15℃で天然酵母による発酵、もうひとつはオーク樽内でのアルコール発酵とマロラクティック発酵。

ルーサンヌとマルサンヌは、それぞれ別々にオーク樽で9か月間熟成し、バトナージュ（撹拌）はせず。瓶詰め前にブレンド。

Domaine Vincent et Alexandre Cluzel

Vincent Cluzel is one of the rising stars of the northern Rhone. Coming from a family of growers that sold their fruit to the top winemakers of the region. Vincent began his own endeavor in 2013 after working for Condrieu and St. Joseph icon Yves Cuilleron. His brothe, Alexandre, join the family business in 2017.
