A tribute to Grandpa Marius.
It is made from a blend of Pinot Noir (50%) and Gamay (50%).
This wine is very refined, combining the delicacy of Pinot Noir with the earthy, mineral qualities of Gamay, while remaining intensely red fruit and low in tannins. It's well-balanced and slightly tannic, yet still retains the texture of ripe red fruit. It's fresh and captivating.

About the Winery

Domaine Denis & Didier Berthollier

Domaine Denis & Didier Berthollier

In 1850, Louis Tissot established an agricultural farm in Chignin with very few vines, which were cultivated for the family's personal consumption. After the Phylloxera crisis in 1900, a few vine plants were replanted, and they are still cultivated today. In 1950, Victor Berthollier (paternal grandfather of Didier and Denis) was among the very first to commercially bottle their wine; at that time, it was more common to sell wine in barrels and bulk.
