François Le Saint is the descent from one of Sancerre's most reveRed families. Founded in 1749 in the heart of Sancerre, Domaine Fouachier is one of the Loire's oldest wine-growing families, with a history spanning 10 generations. This certified organic Sauvignon Blanc is made from vines that are 15-35 years old and grown in clay-limestone soils. Peppy lemon and verbena aromas mingle with herbal White cherry, and a stony texture continues on the lingering, salty finish.

Established for several generations on the peak of Sancerre, the Fouassier family is one of the oldest wine grower families of Sancerre (est. in 1749).In 1923, the winery participated to a farm competition in Paris with some colleagues. Nobody knew the wine of Sancerre, but this minor and unrecognized wine that was at the premises of its current renown captivated a lot of persons.
