Tasting notes
A light wine with aromas of white peach, salt, and pear. On the palate, it initially presents white flowers, which are gradually overtaken by notes of minerals and white pepper. This is a wine in excellent condition.

Production

Very gently pressed with air incorporation. Fermented in concrete tanks, then aged for 3 years in barrels with lees stirring.

About the Winery

Domaine des Soulanes

Domaine des Soulanes

The estate is named after the local word (Soulane) for a south-southeast facing hillside was created in 2002. It’s located between Tautavel and Maury and is owned by Cathy and Daniel Laffite. The vineyard is located in a natural corridor surrounded by garrige, at the foot of the rocky peaks of the last Cathar stronghold, the Château de Quéribus.
