Production

Argelliers is known for its cool terroir, which is ideal for white grapes. The wine is fermented with indigenous yeast, followed by pressing after a short maceration period. It is aged for six months in stainless steel tanks and 700-liter wooden barrels.

About the Winery

Clos Constantin

Clos Constantin

In 2009, Pierre Halley, originally from Argelliers, took over the vineyards of his uncle, a cooperator. There, he started to vinify his own wine but could not do so at home. So, in 2015, he joined forces with his friend Samuel Durand, former sommelier at Lavinia. In 2017, the two of them created Clos Constantin and its winery. In fact, the name of the estate is a tribute to Pierre's great-grandfather, whose first name it was.
