This cuvée is made from grapes harvested from the San Turbano vineyard, one of the most important vineyards in Valpolicella Superiore. The grapes are dried for 20-25 days, which allows the flavors to develop, resulting in rich aromas and suppleness. Aging for approximately two years achieves perfect balance. This is a wine of great elegance and complexity.

Deep ruby red in color. After a rich bouquet of red fruits, the aroma of herbs spreads. In the mouth, you can feel the impression of spices, which leads to a rounded texture and elegant taste.

Cultivation

The Monte Sant'Urbano vineyard is located on a hill at an altitude of 280-350m in the town of Fumane.
It is blessed with a sunny environment. The volcanic limestone and clay soil is moisture-rich.
It's easy to hold and prevents excessive drying.

The wine is pressed using roller crushers and then macerated in stainless steel tanks for 10 days at a controlled temperature of 20-24°C, with daily pumping over and délestage. The wine is then macerated in stainless steel tanks to complete the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations.
Transfer to a glass-coated cement tank.
It is aged for 24 months in 500L Allier oak barrels, followed by bottle aging.
