In Greek mythology, the Hora are a group of goddesses who represent the changing of the seasons. The autumn goddess depicted on the label is one of four sculptures at Cattier Vineyards, and this wine, Hora, is crafted by a dedicated team. Holding the fruits of the autumn harvest, Hora embodies the elegance and harmony of the vineyards that stretch from St. Helena to Rutherford.

About the Winery

Cathiard Vineyard

Cathiard Vineyard

In 1885, Scottish immigrant brothers James and William Rennie purchased land in Napa Valley and planted 60 acres of vineyards spanning the Rutherford and St. Helena AVAs. They built an innovative gravity-flow stone winery influenced by their uncle, Sir John Rennie, known for his work on the construction of London Bridge. However, due to a devastating fire and the spread of phylloxera, the winery closed in 1920.
