Dominique Lafon started his own négociant business in 2008, separate from his family-run Domaine des Comtes Lafon. In this project, he took a more experimental approach, pursuing his own style, including shorter aging periods and the sparing use of new oak barrels. The Meursault 2020 is a bottle that embodies that philosophy, with a finish full of energy and minerality.

Tasting notes
Aromas of ripe white peach, pear, and lemon peel are layered with toasty notes of toast and nuts.

In the mouth, the creamy texture and fine acidity are in harmony, with a lingering salty minerality on the finish.

Soil: calcareous and clayey
