Owning & Enjoying

Tasting notes
The aroma of candied citrus fruits and a slight saltiness indicate that Chardonnay is grown on chalk soil. Complex and very elegant, with a very mellow aftertaste. A wonderful champagne.

Pairing
Triangle Mineral is best enjoyed with a wine-savvy friend as an elegant aperitif, followed by a delicate fish dish that pairs perfectly with the wine.

Production

Terroir: clay-limestone

Viticulture: grapes from the GC Avize vineyards in Saint-Gaerre, mechanically picked

Vinification: The grapes are separated by the plots from which they were harvested, vinified separately in stainless steel vats, and aged separately for 6 months on the lees. To preserve the original freshness, 30% of the wines that have not undergone malolactic fermentation are blended. The wines are aged in the bottle for at least 50 months using traditional Champagne vinification techniques.

About the Winery

Champagne Sanger

Champagne Sanger

The Champagne Sanger was founded in Avize in 1952, at the request of 16 winegrowers, mainly from the Montagne de Reims, who were passionate about promoting the Champagne terroir. The vineyards are established across 13 hectares of 42 crus representing the entire Champagne appellation, with 70% of the supply coming from Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, producing cuvées that combine elegance, finesse and character. The reserve wines are divided by vintage and year and are selected for their ageing potential, thus bringing consistency in style, striving to express the terroir and purity in order to offer mature cuvées.
