[A new wind of Burgundy, nurtured by experience and passion]
Aline Beaune made her solo winemaking debut in 2018, but has extensive experience in the wine industry. For 15 years, she led the winemaking at the prestigious Château de la Clée in Santenay. In 2018, she decided to take over her family's vineyards, which had previously been operated under a farm lease. This opportunity arose when the lease on her family's 5 hectares, which had been operated by the Buxy cooperative, expired.
Aline Beaune's 5 hectares of vineyards are located in the town of Saint-Valland and are composed of 12.5% Aligoté, 25% Bourgogne Blanc, 50% Montagny Villages, and 12.5% Montagny Premier Cru Chazelles. Upon taking over the vineyards, she began the process of converting them to organic farming, a transition that has required meticulous work both in the vineyard and in the winery.
Aline also takes a unique approach to ageing her wines, choosing the right balance between stainless steel tanks and oak barrels in Buxy, in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise.
Her rigorous approach is reflected in wines renowned for their elegance, purity and precision. Every step of the process, from organic cultivation to careful cellar ageing, aims to produce wines that perfectly express the essence of the terroir and her dedication to quality. Aline Beaune's Domaine embodies the fusion of tradition and innovation, producing wines that captivate with their finesse and true Burgundy expression.
