Production

From vineyards with over 50-year-old vines, planted on their own roots without grafting, unaffected by phylloxera. The grapes come from the La Jara vineyard, which provides special grapes for crafting the great Toro wine, Las Sabias. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels (80%) and American oak barrels (20%).

Antony Terin, Vigneron of Toro. My name is Antony Terrin and I am a Frenchman with a passion for vineyards, wine and snorkelling. After dreaming of my own project and searching the world over, I arrived in Toro in 2003, and this old vineyard in an incredible terroir has fascinated me forever. My goal is to offer wines that most faithfully reflect the land from which they come. I build the personality and style of my wines by putting a lot of my personality, passion, experience, curiosity and culture into them.
