In Burgundy, the Côte Chalonnaise/Mercurey region has been gaining attention in recent years for its unique character and quality . Domaine de l'Évêché is a producer here who works closely with the vineyards, capturing the unique character of each plot in their wines .

On this special evening, we will welcome owner and winemaker Quentin Joussier to share the story of wine, food, and terroir at the same table.

It's not just about drinking, but about why the wine tastes the way it does, and why this particular vineyard has the look it does. This is the kind of experience you'll get to find out the answers to through the winemaker's own words - this is the kind of evening that is open to just six people.

What you can experience at this dinner

  • The producer himself will be present , and Quentin Jussier will speak directly about the vineyards, the differences in vintages, and his thoughts on winemaking.

  • A comparative tasting experience of "same village, different vineyards" By tasting and comparing different plots of Mercurey with food, you can experience the differences in terroir with all five senses.

  • Special course only available on this day: A completely original course menu prepared by the chef just for this day, featuring spring ingredients to complement the acidity, fruitiness, and minerality of the wine.

Based on seasonal ingredients that evoke the arrival of spring, each dish is designed to bring out the flavor of the wine, with a composition that complements the minerality and smooth acidity of Chardonnay and the fruitiness and delicate tannins of Pinot Noir.

The concept of this dinner is not to let either the food or the wine take center stage, but to allow you to experience the "complete Burgundy" at the table.
