Deep ruby red with a rich fruity aroma of blackberry and cassis. Elegant layers of vanilla and spice from the barrels, smooth tannins and rich fruitiness linger on a long finish. This Pauillac masterpiece is enjoyable now, but also promises to develop even more complexity with age.

Technical Data

Cultivation: All work required to ensure proper distribution and ventilation of the vines (pruning, thinning, defoliation, removal of branches, training).
The grapes are hand-picked after being selected according to the terroir and the stage of maturity. The grapes are harvested separately from the edges of the vineyard and the center. The harvest is done in baskets, and then the bunches and berries are hand-picked.

Aging: 16 months, 60% in new oak barrels and 40% in used oak barrels. Nine different types of oak barrels are used, with some experimentation in urns and amphorae to enhance the fruit flavours.
