Les Morgeots 2018 is a 1er Cru vineyard produced by Domaine Ramonet, known as the pinnacle of white Burgundy.
The firm minerality and refreshing citrus notes are combined with the depth and richness of ripe fruit. This highly refined wine combines power and refinement, and will change with time. It is the quintessence of Chassagne, beautiful to drink now and with great promise for aging.
Tasting Comments

Tasting Notes
A brilliant pale gold color. From the glass, the wine emerges with layers of white flowers, ripe citrus fruits, pear, and hazelnut, along with the characteristic limestone minerality of Les Morgeot. On the palate, the taut acidity tightens the whole, and the concentrated fruit and salty umami spread smoothly. The oak is understated, and the finish is long, with a sense of tension and elegance continuing. It is beautiful now, but further aging promises even greater depth.
