Zazous Blanc, the complex one. A subtle southern blend, floral, fleshy, and finely wooded.

After creating the Zazous cuvée in Red, we needed its counterpart in White. Unlike the Red Zazous, we propose a blend with local grape varieties. The Piquepoul Blanc teases the beautiful Roussanne. Its name has several origins: a nonconformist jazz lover movement from the late 1930s, a song by Brigitte Fontaine, and also Anaïs's nickname.
Owning & Enjoying

Tasting notes
Rich and powerful on the palate, it starts off with citrus notes, followed by ripe pineapple.

Pairing
Serve as an aperitif, with vegetarian terrines, small red mullets, and crab, or scallop skewers.

Production

Night harvest, controlled fermentation until 1030, then partial barreling. Blending after 4 months of aging.

La Croix Gratiot

The 33-hectare vineyard is located on the clay-limestone hills surrounding the Thau Basin, benefiting from the sea breezes and the scents of the garrigue. This terroir is rich in colors: the reds and yellows of the clay-limestone soil, the greens of the garrigue, and the blues of the sky and the Thau lagoon. The Mediterranean climate allows the grapes to reach optimal ripeness and fully express their typicity.
