[Burgundy tradition and innovation, passed down through six generations of passion]
Domaine Chevalier was founded by Emile Dubois in 1850. From the very beginning, the company has maintained an unwavering commitment to quality, as evidenced by its award-winning track record at agricultural competitions and world expositions.
Over time, his daughter Marcel and son-in-law Emile Chevalier revived the abandoned vineyards, and the next generation, Georges, expanded and strengthened them. In 1959, he made the revolutionary decision to bottle the entire harvest, taking the Domaine to new heights of quality.
Claude Chevalier became winemaker in 1994 and has since re-examined the winery's cultivation and brewing methods, establishing a style that focuses on nature and quality. Now, with the addition of his three daughters, Julie, Chloe and Anaïs, he is injecting new sensibilities and strength into the winery's traditions.
The passion for business, vineyards, winemaking, and customer service, combined with the family bond and love for Burgundy, is all embodied in Domaine Chevalier's wines.
