Limoncello is an Italian liqueur made by steeping lemon peels in a high-alcohol distilled spirit, extracting the essential oils, and then combining them with sugar water. SOLIMONE is a brand founded by Daiki Iwata, who has trained as an Italian chef for many years, with the hope that "customers who buy our products will be filled with smiles like the sun."
SOLIMONE is a coined word made up of the Italian words for sun (SOLE) and lemon (LIMONE). Using lemons grown on a deserted island in Hiroshima, rich in nature, and committed to handcrafted limoncello, the brand aims to produce the most premium limoncello in Japan. The design features a lemon-shaped logo of a gently smiling sun, evoking the brand's familiarity. The colors used are yellow, evoking the bright sun shining on a deserted island; blue, evocative of the sky and sea; and green, evocative of nature and plants.
