and the company that delivers it: a partner program

Cépages Co., Ltd. imports wine directly from producers around the world, principally in France, and sells it through our online store “Cépages Wines”.

This program is a partnership scheme under which people who write about wine on blogs, YouTube, social media and elsewhere introduce the products in our store and receive commission based on the results. It goes beyond simple performance-based commission: as the importer, we provide the first-hand information and experiences that underpin the quality of your articles and videos.

What we provide to partners

Performance-based commission

We pay up to 8% of the product price on purchases made through your referral. Valid for 30 days from the click.

First-hand information from the producers

We share what we gather on site as the importer, including the vineyards, viticulture, winemaking and the character of each vintage. We also answer individual questions so that you can verify your facts.

Invitations to our tastings

We invite you to the tastings we host, held at least twice a year in Tokyo and Osaka. At sessions where producers visit Japan, you can speak with them directly.

Labels not stocked elsewhere

We carry a large number of labels sourced through direct agreements as the exclusive importer. That gives you subject matter beyond “wine you can buy anywhere”.

Commission

Commission rate	Standard products: 8% of the product price All wines from the Bordeaux region, and each Secret Cellar collection (France / Italy / Spain / Australia / Professional): 3%
Calculation basis	The product price after discounts (excluding consumption tax and shipping)
Tracking	Last-click attribution / 30-day cookie period
Confirmation of results	Approved once we have confirmed that dispatch is complete and that the return and cancellation period has elapsed
Payment	By bank transfer no later than the end of the month following the month in which cumulative approved commission reaches 5,000 yen (transfer fees borne by us)

Who can take part

Applicants aged 20 or over who reside in Japan and hold an account with a financial institution in Japan
Applicants who operate a blog, website, YouTube channel, social media account, email newsletter or similar platform
Applicants who will clearly label referral articles and posts as “advertising” or “PR” in accordance with the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations (stealth marketing regulations)
Applicants who will display, on the page where the content appears, the cautionary statements required under the voluntary standards for alcoholic beverage advertising (the four points: no drinking under the age of 20, drinking during pregnancy and breastfeeding, no drink-driving, and moderate consumption)

Listing advertisements bidding on our brand name, placement on coupon, points or cashback sites, and self-referral are not permitted. For details, please see our Affiliate Program Terms of Use.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Do you provide sample bottles?

We do not provide physical samples. Instead, we aim to be of help through invitations to our tastings and through the information we share about the producers.

Q. Is there a minimum follower count or monthly page view requirement?

We set no fixed threshold. Rather than scale, we look at whether you write about wine consistently and whether the content is accurate.

Q. Do you specify which products to feature or how to write about them?

The labels you cover and the assessments you make are entirely up to you. We do not vet your copy. We do, however, ask you to refrain from claims that are contrary to fact and from expressions that breach legislation or voluntary standards.

Q. May I use your product images?

You may use the product images and logos we provide within the scope of this program. Please refrain from altering or redistributing them.
