Made from old vines of Grenache and Carignan grown in soil containing shale and limestone, and young vines of Syrah. Fermented under temperature control, macerated for three weeks, and aged in tanks for nine months, the wine has a powerful aroma of red and black fruits with Mediterranean wild grass and spices, and a rich flavor with smooth tannins. The thickness and harmony that embodies the Mediterranean style are attractive.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red in colour, the nose is wonderfully intense, with aromas of red and black fruit, garrigue and spice notes in a very Mediterranean style.
When you put it in your mouth, it has a rich, full-bodied, juicy flavor.
The tannins are smooth and mellow, with a beautiful, long-lasting fruity finish.

Roast lamb, ratatouille, aged cheese

Technical Data

Cultivation
The Grenache and Carignan vines are over 50 years old and grown on deep shale soils, while the 15-year-old Syrah vines are grown on a mix of shale and limestone.

brewing
Yields are 25hL/ha for Grenache and 28hL/ha for Syrah.
Fermentation is carried out under temperature control and maceration is carried out for three weeks.
It is then aged in tanks for 9 months before being bottled.
