He crafts his wines with a unique philosophy, utilizing his self-made custom barrels called "Magic Casks," a 200% new oak ratio, and no filtering or fining. 2013 was a cool year with restrained yields, resulting in a wine with fresh acidity and impressive firm fruit.

Tasting Notes

The appearance is a slightly bright ruby color. The aroma features red fruits (red cherry, raspberry) intertwined with nuances of vanilla and toasted oak, creating a delicate yet profound bouquet. On the palate, the acidity is lively, the tannins are fine-grained, and the crisp definition of the fruit is clearly felt. The finish is medium to slightly long, with pleasant lingering notes of spice and oak. With its firm structure characteristic of the cool 2013 vintage, it can be enjoyed now, but will become even smoother around 2028.
