Very long finish and volume, fruity, fresh drinking experience

This is the pinnacle of southern French white wines, born from century-old vines. It brings out the pure power of Grenache Blanc, revealing delicate aromas of white peach and almond blossom. The richness and sustained acidity are beautifully balanced in the mouth, with a pleasant, lingering sweetness on the finish, creating a unique flavor. Nurtured by the Mediterranean sunshine and cool breezes, this elegant and profound white wine will become even more impressive with age. An exceptional wine.

Technical Data

Cultivation
A Masaru Selection plot (3.5ha) made from 100-year-old vines.
Located in the Haupoul terroir, adjacent to Vinglou, on the edge of a national forest of over 1,000 hectares.
Located at an altitude of 300m, the soil is cool, clayey and limestone, and very stony.
The sea breeze or tramontane (the name of a strong northerly wind that blows from Languedoc to Roussillon)
A late-ripening plot that continues to blow for more than 250 days a year.
The Grenache Gris comes from old vines trained to Gobelis (a mix of Gris, Blanc and Noir).
They are harvested complementary.

Vinification
The harvest date was chosen to allow for the expression of fully ripe fruit while maintaining freshness and tension.
The grapes are hand-picked, sorted in the fields, and transported in refrigerated trucks. The chilled grapes are then left whole in bunches.
Gentle pneumatic pressing. Grenache Blanc is slowly fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, while Grenache Gris is fermented in five-times-used barrels with batonnage.
Aged on the lees for a total of 8 months. No malolactic fermentation. No fining.
Weakly filtered, very low SO2 (25mg/L at bottling).
