La Morra is made from grapes from two plots (Serra dei Turchi and Santa Maria) and has a delicate and elegant flavour, a style that is rare for Barolo.

Maceration lasted 12 days. Grapes harvested from different plots were pressed and fermented separately. They were then combined and aged for 26 months in a single 35hL wooden barrel. The wine has a bone-dry taste with pleasant tannins and flavors of black olive paste, slightly burnt caramel, and licorice.

Tasting Notes
The richness of the fruit and flowers is apparent, with red ripe fruits such as raspberry and red currant, pale violet and rose aromas, hibiscus and tea leaf notes, and a bone-dry palate with pleasant tannins, black olive paste, slightly burnt caramel and licorice flavors.
