The Timorasso is the latest addition to the Gagliardo family. It’s a dream that became true. It comes from a vineyard located at 400 meters above sea level. It is vinified in steel and aged on its lees for 10 months. Already enjoyable in its youth, it shows its best self after a few years in the bottle.

Tasting notes
Beautiful bright straw yellow color. On the nose the bouquet is vivid, floral and fruity, characterized by notes of hawthorn, white peach and gooseberry. On the palate it is very fresh and extremely pleasant, characterized by good aroma, depth and mineral finish.

Pairing
Vegetable appetizers, white meat, fish dishes, cheese

Production

The grapes are soflty pressed and, maceration “sur lie” for 10 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
Bottle-ageing for about 9 months.

Poderi Gianni Gagliardo

The origins of the winery belong to a family who has been growing vineyards in Piedmont since 1847. In 1961 the family moved to La Morra, in the heart of Barolo appellation. All the wines of Poderi Gianni Gagliardo are produced by native grape varieties and reflect the character of their territory. The vineyards are distributed between the langa and Roero and it includes some of the most prestigeous crus.
