Deep garnet to inky purple.

The nose offers rich black fruits such as cassis, blackberry and plum, along with cedar, pencil grains, toasted oak, vanilla, mint, clove, ink and a hint of smoke/asphalt.

In the mouth, the wine impresses with concentrated fruitiness, supple yet firm grain-like tannins, crisp acidity, and a mineral-like finish.

It has a powerfully structured structure, yet is also elegant, and maintains excellent balance, making it suitable for long-term aging.

The finish is very long, with fruit, spice and minerals slowly fading away, truly reminiscent of a great vintage of Pauillac.

Production

Harvest period: September 21st to October 6th, 2005.
Brewing/Aging: Maceration in 225L wooden tanks for 15 to 25 days, then aged in new barrels (new French oak) for over 20 months.
