Blanc de Blancs

Blanc de Blancs — Champagne made from Chardonnay alone.

Delicate aromas of white fruit, citrus and white flowers, taut chalk-driven minerality and a fine bead. With age, brioche and hazelnut come through. Lovely as an aperitif, and equally at home with white fish, shellfish and the lighter Japanese kitchen — tempura included.

We select from the grand crus of the Côte des Blancs — Avize, Vertus and their neighbours — looking for the bottles where the grower's own hand is visible.
