This special Prestige Cuvée, released exclusively in Japan by the prestigious Champagne House Duval-Leroy, features a refined label with a family crest motif, symbolizing respect for Japanese culture and a unique presence. This Blanc de Blancs is made entirely from Grand Cru Chardonnay, and the magnificent 2008 vintage is a noble and elegant wine with taut acidity, refined minerality, and a long finish.

Appearance: Bright golden colour with a fine, persistent effervescence.
Nose: Rich and delicate, complex yet refreshing, the nose opens with floral notes followed by hints of blood orange and warm roasted almond.
Taste: Characterized by depth and firm minerality, it is full of elegant fruit flavors, with a delicate structure and subtle oak aromas.

Technical Data

- The harvested grapes are vinified separately for each plot.
- Alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures
- Yeast: Saccharomyces cerevisiae (commonly used as budding yeast and baker's yeast)
- Malolactic fermentation is carried out
- Natural fining, no artificial fining
- Very low sulfite content (approximately 1/3 of the permitted level)
- 6% of the wine is aged in oak barrels for 9 months
- Aging: 10 years or more on the lees
