The process of distillation under reduced pressure is called vacuum distillation, which is a method of extracting wine without altering it and preserving all of its aromas.
This is the evaporation process at a maximum temperature of 35-40°C.

Because these are beverages, we are generally unable to accept returns or exchanges for reasons of personal preference. Please order with care.

Even with chilled delivery, a rapid change in temperature can cause slight seepage. This does not affect the quality of the wine, and we are unable to offer an exchange or refund in such cases. Every bottle is visually checked before packing.

Where the fault is ours, returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
We are unable to help after that period, so thank you for your understanding.

Return postage

Where the fault is ours — a faulty bottle or the wrong item — we cover the cost of return. Returns and exchanges for reasons of personal preference are not accepted.

If anything arrives faulty, we will replace it with a new bottle or an equivalent, subject to availability.

About the producer

Château La Coste

A Singular Place Where the Nature, Wine and Art of Provence Come Together

Since 1682, Château La Coste has carried the history of Provence down through the generations. The estate covers some 200 hectares and embodies all the beauty of the Provençal landscape.

The vineyards are coloured by a tradition of farming and viticulture reaching back to Roman times, with cobbled paths, dry-stone walls and bridges scattered throughout. Winemaker Raymond Jimenez, who has been making wine for 40 years, continues to embody the château's traditions.

He grew up on the land of La Coste in the 1960s, while his grandfather was a winemaker here. Shortly after he moved to Château La Coste in 2002, Patrick McKillen too decided to devote himself to making wine on the estate. Organic certification followed in 2009.

Set between the historic Provençal city of Aix-en-Provence and the Luberon National Park, the vineyards are a place where wine, art and architecture exist in harmony. This château, one of the emblems of Provence, extends across a vast 500-hectare estate.

Château La Coste is known not only for its standing in the world of wine but also for its commitment to contemporary art. A striking collection of modern and contemporary art is dotted across the grounds, creating a harmonious link between nature, wine and human creativity. From monumental sculptures to more intimate artistic works, art extends into every corner of the estate. Within the château, guests can also enjoy exceptional dining at the restaurant.
