This is one of the finest examples of Languedoc wine. It offers complex aromas of ripe red and black fruits and leather. It has a rich, full-bodied palate with spicy notes and bush herbs. The acidity is well balanced.

Tasting Notes
Powerful nose: complex with hints of burnt leather and wood, black fruit, fresh bread, shrubland and exotic spices. Further fruit notes in the air. The mouthfeel is very concentrated, and seems to be packed with aromas of spices, baked fruit and more. The wine has excellent levels of juicy acidity and rich tannins. It is young but has a lot of potential.

Pairing
Grilled or roasted red meats, game meats, and pork products

Technical Data

The grapes are destemmed. Each variety is vinified separately. Fermented with wild yeast for 35 days in stainless steel tanks and left to soak for 24 months. Aged in Burgundy wooden barrels for 24 months.
