This cuvée is produced from the same vineyard as the White Les Genevrières. After waiting 18 years for the vines to mature adequately, this cuvée was released for the first time in 2009. Pinot Noir is a very challenging variety to cultivate in this terroir, and it took many years both in the vineyard and the winery to truly understand it. Ultimately, the effort paid off, resulting in an outstanding wine.

Tasting notes
The beautiful 2020 vintage is full aromas of raspberry, plum, violet, sweet soil tones, and licorice. It is medium to full-bodied, with rich and fleshy profiles, featuring supple tannins and lively sourness. Uncommon for an exclusive cuvée, it is charming and sensual in flavor.

About the Winery

Domaine Guillot - Broux

The estate was created in 1954 by Pierre and Jeannine GUILLOT. In 1978 their son, Jean-Gérard Guillot, came back to Cruzille town with his wife and they created Domaine Guillot – Broux with only 1 hectar of vines. Today Emmanuel et Patrice Guillot, the third generation, is taking care of the family business.
