This cuvée comes from the same vineyard as the white Les Génievrières. After waiting 18 years for the vines to mature, the cuvée was first released in 2009. Pinot Noir is a very challenging variety to grow in this terroir, and it took many years to get the varietal right, both in the vineyard and in the winery. But it was ultimately worth it, as the resulting wine is outstanding.

Tasting Notes
The beautiful 2020 vintage is full of raspberry, plum, violet, sweet earth tones and licorice aromas. It is medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with supple tannins and lively acidity, making it unusually charming and sensual for a secret cuvée.
