The Colla family began growing grapes in the 1860s. In the 1970s, Gianni Gagliardo continued the family tradition, bringing the vineyard and winemaking philosophy into the modern era. Today, his sons take over the family estate, meticulously managing vineyards scattered across several villages, including La Morra, Monforte d'Alba, and Serralunga. They maximize the diversity of the terroir and faithfully capture the individuality of each plot in their bottles.

Their philosophy is "harmony over power, clarity over intensity." They gently extract the skins and meticulously control the temperature. They aim to create wines that open beautifully from a young age while also having the structure to withstand long-term aging. Nebbiolo exudes aromas of red fruits, scents of violets and licorice, and a lingering mineral finish. All of these elements blend intricately, flowing through the mouth like silk.
