[A treasure of La Roche-Vineuse that perfectly captures the unique character of the terroir]
Ideally located in the village of La Roche-Vineuse, close to the Solutré and Vergisson crags, Domaine Perrot was founded in 2005 by Jean-Christophe, building on four generations of family-owned vineyards.
Perraud is driven by a passion for creating great wines, and the special soil and terroir allow the wines to range in flavor from fruity to complex.
The estate grows Chardonnay, Aligoté, Gamay and Pinot Noir, ripened on clay-limestone marl soils across five different villages, resulting in a wide variety of wines.
We aim to minimize the use of pesticides and in the near future produce fully organic wines, all the while carefully managing the soil to preserve the best expression of the different terroirs.
Each wine is treated with the utmost care and attention, and nothing is added that would interfere with the full expression of the grape varieties used or the soil in which they are grown.
Whether aging in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels, we strive to express the unique aromas and flavors that differ from vintage to vintage.
