A hidden appellation of just 66ha, next to Fuissé

A small production area adjacent to Pouilly-Fuissé, overlooking the Rock of Solutré. This is a luxurious wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown in lime-rich soil with abundant sunshine, fermented and aged with natural yeast in 600L oak barrels (50% new oak). The gorgeous aroma of citrus and white peach, with a subtle hint of toastiness from the barrels, blends elegantly, while the rich fruit and beautiful minerality lead to a long finish. Enjoy the pleasure of experiencing a quality comparable to its renowned neighbor, at this price.

Technical Data

Viticulture

A small appellation of only 66 hectares located near the Roche de Solutré. Adjacent to Pouilly-Fuissé, the vines are cultivated in plots with limestone-rich soil and excellent sun exposure.

Winemaking

After gentle pressing with a pneumatic press, the wine is fermented and aged in 600L oak barrels. Natural yeasts are used, and 50% of the barrels are new oak. After 12 months of aging, the wine is lightly filtered and bottled.
