An authentic Burgundy white wine that combines elegance and power

This Chardonnay, grown from vines with an average age of 45 years, reflects the terroir of limestone and clay. Fruity notes of white peach and apricot are layered with nuances of hazelnut from the oak barrels, and the natural acidity creates a long finish. A perfect match with cream dishes and cheeses. A refined Burgundy that can also be enjoyed with age.

Technical Data

Cultivation
Le Clos is one of the Domaine's finest plots, with soils made up of limestone and clay. The limestone provides high acidity, while the clay gives the wine richness and structure.
With an average age of 45 years, these vines are some of the oldest in the domaine and are managed organically.

Vinification
The harvested grapes are gravity fed directly into a pneumatic press.
Fermentation takes place in 600L oak barrels, half of which are new.
After 12 months of ageing, the wine is lightly filtered and a small amount of sulfites is added before bottling to maintain the wine's stability and freshness.
