Marsanne and Roussanne from six plots of land, including granite and limestone, are aged in barrels for 10 months. Low-temperature fermentation and gentle malolactic fermentation produce honey and white flower aromas, a rich volume and a firm mouthfeel. The delicate bitterness tightens the aftertaste, making this a wine that combines elegance and depth.

Owning & Enjoying

Tasting notes
A rich aroma with impressive floral and honey nuances.
The mouthfeel is full-bodied, yet firm and beautifully textured, with a subtle bitterness that accentuates the length of the finish.

Pairing
Sautéed scallops in lemon butter sauce, braised pork fillet in white wine, mustard sauce, matured white cheese such as brie or camembert

Production

Cultivation
A blend of six different plots spanning from the north to the south of the appellation.
The vineyards are located on hills and plateaus overlooking the Rhône Valley and are planted with various orientations, from south to southeast.
The planting density is 8,000 to 10,000 trees per hectare.
The soil is mainly sandy soil derived from granite, with some limestone soil.

Winemaking
The grapes are hand-picked from each plot, vinified and aged separately for each variety. After pressing, the juice is left to stand and slowly fermented at low temperature, including malolactic fermentation.
Aged for 10 months in 225L and 400L barrels, with approximately 15% new barrels.
