Alpha expresses wonderful complexity with fruity aromas reminiscent of fruit compote, along with distinct notes of spice and tobacco. The characteristic nuances of black cherry, black plum, and black pepper highlight each fruit's individuality. This full-bodied, fruity red wine features strong body and overwhelming acidity, creating a pleasant structure that unfolds with fine tannins in the mouth.

樹齢8〜20年のブドウから作られ、火打石や化石化した粘土を含む土壌で有機農法で栽培。フレンチオークで発酵し、8ヶ月間熟成することで、しっかりとしながらも親しみやすいワインに仕上がっている

About the Winery

Montepeloso

Monteperoso

Montepeloso is nestled in the hills of Suvereto near Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast - one of the hottest regions in Tuscany. The 15 hectare estate was bought by Swiss-born winemaker Fabio Chiarelotto in 1998 and since then, in order to take full advantage of the potential of the terroir, he has reorganised the vineyard - converting, pruning and even replanting many of the vines. Fabio has devoted himself to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot but also to regional varieties such as Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Marselan, a new variety between Cabernet and Grenache Noir, Colorino and Alicante Bouschet.
